Jnana And Chin Mudras : Jnana mudra and chin mudra are simple but important psychonerural finger locks which make meditation asana more powerful. The palms and fingers of the hands have many nerve root endings which constantly emit energy. When the finger touches the thumb, a circuit is produced which allow the energy that would normally dissipate into the environment to travel back into the body and up to the brain. Bhairava Mudra : The two hands represent ida and pingala nadis, and the union of the individual with the supreme consciousness.
Hridaya Mudra :
This mudra diverts the flow of prana from the hands to the heart area, improving the vitality of the physical heart. The middle and ring fingers relate directly to nadis connected with the heart, while the thumb closes the pranic circuit and acts as an energiser, diverting the flow of prana from the hands to these nadis.
